Hello everyone

I'm trying to subscribe to a MQTT topic, but it doesn't work. I wonder if it is possible in Carrots ?

Hello Carriots support,

I reply to this topic because I have problem with the subscribe feature over MQTT.

It seems that the carriots's server close the connection before sending data (from the topic "stream").

Is there any timeout or anything else that can cause this type of problem ?

If I subscribe to the stream topic, do I get all data from any time or only the last one ?

Hi Thomas_Socomec.

In Carriots you can publish data for free but subcription feature is a service on demand. However, Socomec company has its own Carriots implementation. If you need more information about it, please contact us via email.

Best regards!

Is it possible to send streams using the mqtt broker from carriots in a listener ?

I would like to modify a data in a Stream, as I have read I have to send a new Stream with the modified data using a listener.

All I managed to do was to publish something on a topic, but I was not able to send a new Stream.

Do you have a solution ? Thanks in advance

Hi Agora_Lohr,

You can send the streams to Carriots without persistence and having a Listener with the event 'On Data Received' you can modify the data and persist them as a new stream in the platform through REST API or MQTT in the Listener.

I hope this helps you,
